who do you think you are?
Social networking allows people to be whoever they want to be. Music people listen to helps define where they belong. It’s so easy to put a label on someone who dresses in a particular fashion. Pretty white guys with tattoos and rediculosly raised fords can be labeled as “bros.” Any girl with big hair tons of dark make-up, tight pants and a band shirt fall under the “emo/scene” label, as well as boys with straightened hair that covers one eye. But what is a label, and why do people think they need one? Is it the need to feel accepted? Should we have to hide behind this mask that everone knows just so we don’t stick out? Who cares if you like hevy metal but yet don’t like the big hair and tight pants. Who cares if you prefrere the big hair but don’t even care about the music that it comes with. Be who you are. If God wanted us all to be the same, He would have made us robots.
